Online Lawyer Service
Service Availability & Eligibility
The Online Lawyer Service is available to individuals over the age of 16 and to legal entities, accessible through placing an order in the “Online Lawyer” section of our website.
By using the service, you consent to provide accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive information about yourself.
Contract Formation
The order for the purchase of Online Lawyer Service will be made by completing the form available on the website. The electronic form represents the contract concluded between the parties. The parties to the contract will be called the Client and the Lawyer.
Payment Methods & Service Options
Online Lawyer services can be paid for by:
- Credit/Debit Card (Visa and MasterCard)
- Bank transfer
- Cash at Transilvania Bank headquarters or at our headquarters
Available service categories include: Property & Real Estate, Contracts & Corporate Law, IT Law, Intellectual Property & Patents, Employment Law, Family Law, Visa & Immigration, Criminal Law, Document Study, and Other Legal Cases.
Consultation Details
- Duration: Online consultations vary between 30 to 60 minutes
- Format: Consultations can be conducted via audio or video, tailored to your needs
- Document Review: The consulting service generally does not cover preliminary review of legal documents, with exceptions in specific circumstances
Nature of Legal Services
The legal services provided by our lawyers represent obligations of diligence (or means) and not obligations of results. Through this obligation of diligence, our lawyers undertake to make all necessary efforts to achieve the best possible result, without actually committing to a specific result.
This is established by Law no. 51/1995 for the organization and exercise of the lawyer profession.
Steps to Initiate an Online Consultation
Step 1: Initial Discussion & Registration
- Start with an introductory discussion via email, live-chat, or telephone
- Complete the electronic form with your details and phone number
- Specify your preferred time slot and availability
- Select your preferred format (audio, video, etc.)
- Provide a brief overview of your legal issue
- Review and accept these terms and conditions and our privacy policy
- Express your consent to proceed with the order
Step 2: Payment
Payment for the consulting service can be made with:
- Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard) through a secure Stripe processor
- Bank transfer
- Cash at Transilvania Bank headquarters or at our headquarters (proforma invoice will be issued)
Full payment is required before setting the appointment. Payment will be ratified by email confirming the consultation.
Step 3: Confirmation & Consultation
Following confirmation of your Online Legal Consultation, a lawyer will contact you on the agreed-upon date and time.
Invoice & Documentation
The lawyer will issue an invoice for the online consultancy service and send it via email within 48 hours following the completion of the consultancy session.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund Conditions
In cases where the online consultation was not conducted by a member of the Atrium team, the fee may be refunded only under certain conditions and within a maximum period of seven days from the client’s request.
Alternatively, the client may use the fee to schedule a new online consultation with the consent of our representative. This appointment must be requested within a maximum of 48 hours from the initially scheduled consultation date.
Client Cancellation Rights
- Same-day booking: Withdraw within 1 hour after making the appointment
- Booked 24+ hours in advance: Withdraw at least 24 hours before the consultation time
- Booked 48+ hours in advance: Withdraw at least 48 hours before the consultation time
Company Cancellation Rights
Atrium may cancel the appointment by representative with prior notice to the Client if:
- The transaction was not validated by the Stripe Platform
- The transaction was not accepted by the issuing bank
- The customer did not fully complete the Order
- We determine the customer pursues an illicit or immoral goal
- These terms and conditions are not respected
Consultation Delays & Interruptions
Our Delays (Lawyer)
- 15 minutes or less: Consultation extended by additional 15 minutes
- More than 15 minutes: Client has option to reschedule or receive a refund
Client Delays
- 15 minutes or less: Consultation extended by 15 minutes
- More than 15 minutes: Client can reschedule within 30 days
- No refund if client does not reschedule within 30 days
Connection Interruptions
If the connection is interrupted during consultation and not re-established within 15 minutes, the remaining consultation time may be rescheduled once within a 30-day period under the same terms.
Consultation Conduct & Rules
Additional Issues
If you bring up new legal issues during the consultation that differ from those reported in your Order and require in-depth investigation, the Atrium team reserves the right not to provide legal advice on these new issues.
Consultation Duration & Fees
- If a consultation lasts less than the paid duration and ends with your agreement, no refund is issued for unpaid time
- The fee is not divisible
- If consultation exceeds paid duration, you must pay an additional fee to continue
Code of Conduct
The online consultation must comply with civilized conduct standards:
- No licentious or inappropriate language
- No offenses or insults
- Professional behavior from both parties
Violation of these rules allows the Atrium team to end the consultation with no refund.
Professional Confidentiality
The provisions of Law no. 51/1995 on practicing the profession of lawyer regulate the preservation of professional secrecy, ensuring confidentiality of all documents communicated to the Atrium team on the online platform.
Force Majeure
Online consulting cannot be honored for reasons beyond our control, such as:
- Force majeure events
- Epidemics/pandemics
- Fires, explosions
- Wars, acts of terrorism

Conciliation Process
Any conflict arising between clients and the company will be attempted to be resolved amicably by agreement between the two parties.
If the conflict has not been resolved amicably, the competence rests with the Courts of Romania, Bucharest.
Legal Framework
All disputes regarding the creation, modification, termination, and interpretation of the legal assistance contract are subject to the arbitration rules provided by law and the Statute of the lawyer profession.
